Maintains evaluation and observation of audit schedules for ATEX & IECEx to ICE/EN 80079-34 and for the schedule of management systems including ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001
Regularly assesses to ensure audits are complete and suggest recommendations of programs if required. Also conduct quality audits as required followed by preparing the final reports.
Assist in the organisation of audit staff training and accreditations.
Facilitate the development of mutual agreements with other agencies and notified bodies and assist with any disputes.
Support and be of guidance in audit price parameters.
Help manufacturers with non-compliant QMS to understand the requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical/electronic) or related field within electrical/electronic engineering Completion of a Lead Auditor course (40 hour in-class). At least 5 years' experience of auditing to EN 80079-34 At least 5 years' experience of working with Hazardous locations product approvals. Industrial experience of working within a manufacturing environment and understanding of the manufacturing process. Supervisory experience would be an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills High degree of attentiveness (especially during on-site audit) Analytical skills required during on-site audits as well as being focused, perceptive and decisive.
