A growing firm of Chartered Accountants based out of the midlands are seeking an all-round skilled Bookkeeper to join their friendly and supportive team in Nottingham on a part-time basis, working 22-30 hours a week.

They are an innovative and forward thinking company; they operate on Sage Line 50 and are constantly implementing and improving procedures. This is something you can get stuck into too!

Package

• Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience)
• Hours: 22 – 30 a week depending on preference
• Opportunity for Study Support (subject to completion of probationary period)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper who is confident in the following: Internal & external bookkeeping for clients, Purchase and Sales Ledger invoicing. Double entry bookkeeping, VAT returns, Month end duties – Accruals, Prepayments, Journals. Balance sheet. Part of fully-qualified AAT, part-qualified ACCA, or qualified by experience. A practice background is essential. Essential demonstrable all-round accounts experience. Sage Line 50 experience is desirable. Strong attention to detail, numerate and analytical. Strong IT skills including excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables etc.). Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
