Job Description

Reporting directly into the MD you will be responsible for:

· Provide office-based support for sales and service operations as a front-line contact for customers, and to organize and perform the various office activities for the smooth day-to-day running of the business

· Maintain an efficient and organized office and provide coordination and support for all day-to-day activities of the business

· Support sales activities to include handling enquiries, generating quotations, sales follow up, entering, processing and progressing sales orders.

· Manage the sales ledger to include processing and monitoring of customer accounts, new account applications, regular statement runs and credit control function

· Raising purchase orders

· Covering the purchase ledger / general bookkeeping for holiday cover

Salary £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience, a good background in administration and a strong confident telephone manner is required plus some exposure to the accounts side.

This is an office-based role not working from home with Covid measures in place. It is a secure and friendly business who have continued to perform well over the last 12 months.

Hours are 8.30 am - 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and free parking.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience: bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
