Job Description

To provide business support to the setting. Manage the day to day office based tasks including, finance, attendance, invoicing, pensions, tax and insurance.
- To be responsible for the business aspects of the running of company Little Troopers Nursery & Pre-School
- To manage the Nursery accounts and finances using the accountancy software Xero
- To provide budgets and overviews of spending where necessary
- To manage and use the Nursery Management database Family
- To apply and keep up to date Early Years funding
- To pay and approve expenses within the allowable budgetary areas
- To run payroll for all staff using the accountancy software Xero
- To deal with tax payments, pensions regulator and insurance.
- To send out invoices, deal with debtors and account for all payments made etc.
- To undertake administrative tasks required by the setting
- To apply for the free milk scheme
- To manage DBS applications within the committee and setting including the automatic updates system
- To produce contracts and other HR forms in collaboration with the manager.
- To purchase and keep stock of office supplies.
- To manage, implement and ensure that the setting complies with the General Data Protection Regulation and that staff receive appropriate training and guidance.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the trustees in accordance with the setting’s business plan/objectives.
