This is an exciting time to join Health Visiting in NHS Tayside and be part of our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing for children and families. We are seeking candidates who are patient centred, self motivated, have excellent communication skills and are team players who are willing to support change. An in-depth knowledge of GIRFEC and the Children and Young People Act 2014 is essential.

Health Visitors in Tayside deliver the Universal Health Visiting Pathway to families within their own home identifying and supporting health needs. Within Dundee there is the opportunity to work with families experiencing difficulties and vulnerabilities, protecting children at risk and planning and implementing programmes to promote health and wellbeing. This has never been more evident than in our current climate during the COVID-19 pandemic. We work in partnership with families and colleagues from partner agencies/ services e.g. GP’s, Family Nurse Partnership, Early Years Workers, Allied Health Professional, Multi Agency Partners and Voluntary Services.
