You will make a difference by:
-Maintaining effective working relationships and channels of communications with colleagues and with young people and families and where necessary encourage and promote involvement to achieve positive outcomes.
-Being alert to child protection and safeguarding issues and inform appropriate line managers of concerns in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
-Participating in regular supervision sessions and practice meetings to maintain a cohesive approach and undertake training as identified.
-Maintaining the hygiene and the cleanliness of all working areas, internal and external. Including kitchen and bathroom areas
-Ensuring familiarity and compliance with relevant Action for Children policies and procedures and work as part of the Dundee Youth Housing Service team
-Working towards GIRFEC outcome and comply with Health and Social Care Standards and the SSSC Code of conduct
-Enabling young people to develop independent living skills and sustain tenancy.
