Job Description

You will have: 

• Knowledge of infrastructure solutions, especially in relation to Microsoft solutions, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of operational management, systems security, testing, databases and mobility considerations.
• Deep knowledge of PaaS and IaaS on Azure, including governance principles, RBAC, Resource Groups, Network Security Groups, Azure Gateways, Express Route, Azure Firewall, VNet peering. Lighthouse experience an advantage.
• Working knowledge of DR and migration strategies on Azure. Including leveraging Azure Backup, Site Recovery for both DR and as a migration pathway.

• Experience working with Azure DevOPS and CI/CD

• Experience with Azure Resource Manager Templates / Blueprints
• Experience with Azure Policy. RBAC and Management groups
• PowerShell / Azure CLI for deployments and administration.
• Azure Just in Time access / Bastion

(Training will be provided to support these requirements/ qualifications)

This will enable you to carry out the following duties:

• Be working on a variety of Azure releases and projects (application releases, infrastructure releases, migration, containerization, transformation)
• Be writing infrastructure as code (Azure Resource Manager, YAML)
• Be working with Azure DevOps to facilitate CI/CD release pipelines.
• Azure environment troubleshooting and setup
• Configuring and maintaining backup, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Be interacting with teams to ensure System availability and to support application and infrastructure releases
• Participate in work sessions
• Be completing technical documentation
• Be delivering quality work in an agile delivery model in a team environment
• Support and deploy enterprise-scale, complex cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Lead technical discussions with senior customer executives that drive decisions and implementation approaches.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrable relevant Infrastructure Engineering and Support Demonstrable  Microsoft Azure design & delivery experience. A candidate with Microsoft certification such as AZ-103, or AZ-500, AZ-300, AZ-301 would be very desirable
