Supporting the service and management teams with a wide range of business support duties including co-ordinating and processing all incoming referrals ready for assessment and undertaking appropriate signposting
Screening and recording descriptive and graphic referrals of abuse and complex family dynamics
Undertaking work of an extremely sensitive, challenging and confidential nature
Adhering to strict processing guidelines for referrals and taking judgement on instigation of highly confidential decision making
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience in a similar role / environment Strong verbal communication skills, demonstrating a courteous, fluent, and calm telephone manner Accurate recording skills with ability to collate relevant information Proven organisational and time management skills Ability to assess work priorities and have a flexible approach to changing work demands and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Assurance of emotional resilience when exposed to challenging and distressing information & circumstances. Ability to deal with such scenarios in a calm and effective manner Strong IT skills including data handling, MS SMS, Outlook Forms and other management software systems High level of confidentiality required given the nature of the service area and knowledge and understanding of data protection legislation in context of job role
