Job Description
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, to join our friendly and supportive team.
Duties will include assisting in the provision of comprehensive administration support to the community mental health team including scanning, photocopying, typing, tidying up reports produced by the team, answering telephones, relaying messages and data inputting and working alongside our Band 3 Administrator.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
As a minimum requirement you will need to have: A good standard of education to GCSE Grade C or equivalent level, to include English. RSA II text processing/typing or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience. At least one year’s experience of working in an administrative role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent telephone manner when talking to service users. Ability to manage stressful/difficult conversations as the first point of contact with service users/careers who may ring into team base. Ability to work on own initiative and within a team. Ability to deal with highly confidential/sensitive information. Ability to priorities own workload. Flexible approach to working hours. This is a busy role which will require a flexible approach to ensure the service operates efficiently, you will need to be able to work using your own initiative and as part of the team.
