Support the Accountants in preparing the monthly accounts
Revenue reconciliations including resolving arising queries and posting accrued and deferred income journals.
Review maintenance and other fixed costs and post prepayments, accruals and any other necessary month end journals
Responsibility of posting consolidated invoices to the relevant services
Analysis of key cost lines to assist accounts reviews carried out by the Management Accountants
Maintain intercompany reconciliations and suspense accounts, posting corrections where necessary.
Prepare Weekly Performance Report to be distributed to the group
Reconciliation and ownership of various balance sheet reconciliations
Take a proactive approach with highlighting/driving improvements to current systems and processes to improve efficiencies
Maintain all bank accounts across the business.
Monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts incorporating posting all payments, receipts and transfers
Liaising with the banks when necessary, banking of cheques
Monitoring treasury inbox and answering queries, reviewing and applying requests for increases in spend limits for purchasing card
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous treasury and management accounts experience essential AAT qualified or equivalent. IT literate - Microsoft Office in particular Excel Accounts system knowledge Able to work with minimal supervision and independently as well as part of a team Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people of all levels throughout the business Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment Great awareness of deadlines
