Job Description

Your key duties will involve management account preparation/production, cash flow processes, budget preparation, financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting for senior management. You will be involved in all transactional processes from purchase/sales ledger oversight and processing when needed, multi-currency processes to managing banking relationships, payroll preparation, costing processes and improving how the accounting function runs. You will partner with non-finance to explain the numbers, work with the external accountants at year-end, and support junior team members within the business. Your duties will grow with the role and the position will be tailored around the right finance professional.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be considered for this exciting and unique Company Accountant position you will have experience within a similar role, strong communication skills to build relationships at all levels, and be comfortable managing your own workloads. You will ideally be part-qualified/qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience, trained in a range of accounting systems with good MS Excel skills. You will have a pro-active working approach, used to meeting time constraint deadlines and have experience working within a small-medium organisation. Although not essential, any experience within a manufacturing business would be advantageous.
