Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner and working with another 2 Assistant Accountants, you will have complete ownership of the month end/management accounts process for 1 legal entity. You will be joining a finance team of 11 where responsibilities will include:
- Initial preparation of the monthly management accounts for group companies
- Work closely with the Finance Business Partner to provide commentary on management accounts
- Support the Finance Business Partner with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Provide weekly performance information including KPIs
- Provide analysis as requested to support the month-end financials
- Financial reporting as requested by the wider business
- Post month end journals including accruals and prepayments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will currently be working in a role whereby you are completing a number of month end tasks including journal posting, balance sheet reconciliation and ideally will have experience in basic management accounts prep. You will be AAT qualified or studying towards your ACCA/CIMA qualification. You must be a team player who is confident working with finance professionals at all levels.
