Receive a salary of up to £21,000 Full Time Equivalent - dependent on experience. You'll also get a number of benefits including a company contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus 8 public bank holidays.

The situation in the prison can change at any minute. You need to be able to communicate effectively, work as part of a team and follow instruction diligently. It’s this variety that keeps things fresh and stimulating. Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences but you’ll have all the support you need to deliver the best practice possible from both the healthcare team and the prison team. Having experience within prison setting would be advantageous and you'll need to be confident in a prison setting as the office will be based in Healthcare, off a prison wing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You'll be carrying out general administrative duties within the healthcare department of the prison. Working within set routines, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the unit, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and staff enquiries. A key responsibility is the collection and collation of accurate service performance data for internal and external reporting requirements. Having experience of SystmOne patient electronic records software is essential to the role.
