Job Description

Key responsibilities:

The primary function of this role will be taking responsibility for the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements under FRS102 for the group's consolidated reporting entities. This will include:

• External Audit liaison - UK entities

• Accounting for the group's share based payment schemes and associated reporting disclosures

• Accounting for the group's impaired assets and investments, as required and associated reporting disclosures

• Provision of adhoc audit papers to support

• Brexit related disclosures - quantify impacts

In addition, this role will support an internal reorganisation project. As part of this project, you will be responsible for:

• Providing financial accounting assistance for group's reorganisation project

• Managing and overseeing all accounting entries at a local reporting level and liaising with the group consolidation's team to ensure group repowering requirements are met

• Updating disclosures as required in the group's financial statements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA , CA or ACCA Qualified (or equivalent) Strong consolidated financial statements preparation experience (UK GAAP) is essential Experience working within a large group environment would be beneficial Preparation of entity and / or consolidated financial statements under FRS102 Advanced Excel skills are essential Experience with multicurrency consolidations, including intercompany reconciliations
