The primary function of this role will be taking responsibility for the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements under FRS102 for the group's consolidated reporting entities. This will include:
External Audit liaison - UK entities
Accounting for the group's share based payment schemes and associated reporting disclosures
Accounting for the group's impaired assets and investments, as required and associated reporting disclosures
Provision of adhoc audit papers to support
Brexit related disclosures - quantify impacts
In addition, this role will support an internal reorganisation project. As part of this project, you will be responsible for:
Providing financial accounting assistance for group's reorganisation project
Managing and overseeing all accounting entries at a local reporting level and liaising with the group consolidation's team to ensure group repowering requirements are met
Updating disclosures as required in the group's financial statements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACA , CA or ACCA Qualified (or equivalent) Strong consolidated financial statements preparation experience (UK GAAP) is essential Experience working within a large group environment would be beneficial Preparation of entity and / or consolidated financial statements under FRS102 Advanced Excel skills are essential Experience with multicurrency consolidations, including intercompany reconciliations
