Job Description

Our leading construction client based in Leicestershire are seeking a proven and career motivated Accountant on a 6 month contract with the opportunity for permanent therefore after.

Working as part of a successful and structured team within a stable and secure business, you will contribute towards statutory accounts, group reporting and IFRS 16 postings in addition to various accounting projects within the business.

• Home based (must be able to commute to North Leicester post covid)
• £250 - £300 per day + Holiday Pay (PAYE) - paid weekly
• IT equipment provided)
• Potential for permanent after 6 month

Duties include:

• Month/Quarterly/year end
• Budget processing for IFRS 16
• General accounting reporting
• P&L
• Statutory Accounts
• Group reporting
• Group project work

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant / Part Audit practice experience Statutory Accounts preparation Balance sheet reconciliations Hands on experience of IFRS 16 and required postings Keen to learn and progress Able to commute to North Leicester post COVID (or willing to relocate)
