Job Description

We are looking for somebody who will work closely with both the Head of Finance Operations and the Group Financial Controller to assist with the maintenance and integrity of all group companies and ensure statutory compliance.

This newly created role will manage the Accounts Assistant and be responsible for several areas including our overseas branches, balance sheets, cash, tax compliance and help with the production of the monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant role include:

• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for all group companies and branches for review
• Tracking and forecasting cash
• Invoice financing reconciliation
• Bank reconciliations
• Filing annual returns for all UK group companies at Companies House
• VAT reconciliations and quarterly returns
• Work with the local accountants of our overseas branches to ensure
• All reporting is accurate and received on time for group consolidation
• Oversee TBW Global and be responsible for the all aspects of Finance
• Production and analysis of the P&L including GM Analysis
• Checking, posting, and paying suppliers and linguists
• Ensuring we are compliant, and all filings are made on time
• ONS forms
• Management Accounts
• Rolling forward files monthly and balancing them to CODA
• Reviewing of overheads on a monthly basis including posting the appropriate accruals and prepayments and providing an analysis against budget
• Supporting the Group Financial Controller with tax and other regulatory compliance throughout the Group.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages focusing on Excel Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner High level of attention to detail Ability to challenge at all levels Qualified or working towards a financial qualification Experience in using CODA Line Management experience
