This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of Information Governance administrators and continually develop the function whilst ensuring that Data & Information governance objectives are met and best practise is implemented and followed. Alongside this you will continually evangelise and socialise the importance of Information & Data Governance, engaging EMIS colleagues on the benefits of treating data as an asset.
Whilst you will support our CISO with strategic planning there will also be expectation to be 'hands-on’ when it comes to conducting privacy assessments, developing artefacts, implementing process & procedures, as well as maintaining and evolving the Information Asset Register and repositories across EMIS.
Please note, this is a homeworking role however you may be expected to travel to our collaboration hubs as required (Predominantly Leeds but also Bolton or Watford).

The team you’ll join…
This role reports into our Chief Information Security Officer and is supported by a small team of Information Governance administrators. The Information Governance team is part of the wider Group Security function, a dynamic highly motivated team committed to ensuring that EMIS Group is organisationally and technically secure in a fast evolving environment with substantial critical assets, systems and patient data to protect in multiple locations and geographies.
