Job Description

As a workforce planning manager you will to lead on all aspects of workforce performance, overseeing achievement of key performance indicators as determined by the Trust Board. Embed and manage key performance indicator performance via the Trust’s PMO and QIP programmes. You will need to monitor and report aspects of key performance at Trust Board, Finance & Performance Committee, Workforce & Development Committee, Trust Management Board and relevant sub-committees/working groups.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The post-holder will act as the key focus and accountable person reporting to the Director of HR & OD for all aspects of workforce performance key metrics, planning and reporting, internal and external to the Trust. The successful candidate will act as the Lead for workforce planning at local/regional and national workforce related projects and attend local/regional groups with the Health Education England, NHSI, and Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STP’s). Agree the resulting workforce plans with the Executive Leadership team and other bodies as required.
