Job Description

You will participate in the provision of a responsive, needs-led assessment to individuals presenting to WVT with a range of alcohol related problems. A significant part of the role will be the assessment of an individuals use of alcohol with subsequent signposting to other support services. There will also be a teaching, education and support role, assisting staff to respond to alcohol related needs more effectively.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will hold a registered nursing qualification and be able to demonstrate post registration experience at Band 5/above or equivalent of working with people who have alcohol and substance misuse related problems. You will need to provide evidence of continual professional development and a clear awareness of current issues in this field, including patient and risk assessment.
