Job Description

The role includes diverse responsibilities which also include managing an elective surgical list, support for the workforce, taking charge of the ward by developing the relevant leadership and management skills when the senior leaders are not on duty, and participating and proactively performing data collection.

For the time being staff are required to work on rotational shifts (long days and nights), including weekends, however flexible working hours requests are taken in consideration especially considering the reopening of Day Surgery and the Surgical Admission Unit.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will also work with a wide MDT and might have the chance of working on the Day Surgery Unit when this will reopen; therefore we require staff who are interested in surgery, can enhance recovery and have the ability to work within a fast pace environment.
