Based on the seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare, the practice has thrived for over 20 years serving a diverse range of businesses. They pride themselves on the way they work with clients by having an ethos to treat their clients’ business as if it were their own and are looking for a senior accountant to do the same.

You will be responsible for supporting the partners, who each have their own clients and specialisms including acquisitions and mergers and utilising cloud technology.

What you will be doing:

• Account preparation
• Corporate tax and returns
• Processing client data for forecasting purposes
• Liaising and closely working with clients
• Annual accounts
• Cloud accounting using anything from Xero to QuickBooks
• General practice - taking ownership over the end to end accounting services for clients

What you need to succeed:

• ACA / ACCA Qualification
• Ideally 3 years’ experience in a practice environment
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to build relationships with clients
• Strong IT skills ideally with exposure to Xero, QuickBooks etc
