The ability to build relationships internally is also crucial as this position will involve partnering with numerous individuals throughout the organisation. Any exposure to working with specific finance projects would be highly beneficial. Core duties for the Finance Manager role will include:-
Production of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process
Variance analysis
Cashflow forecasting
Business partnering and producing reports for various departments
Creation and roll out of KPI analysis
Project Accounting
Ad-hoc project work
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The Finance Manager will need to be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified or close to completing their examinations. Core experience of the management accounts process is essential, and you will need to be able to work to tight deadlines
