This University have fantastic growth plans for the future and part of that plan is to grow the finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director the Finance Manager role will be responsible for the operational management of the Finance function.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager role:
Responsible for the financial and accounting operations of the University
Accurate logging and reporting of all Purchase and Sales Ledger transactions
Payroll processing in sage line 50
management of all aspects surrounding Student fees and Supplier payments.
Supports the Director of Finance in the production of timely and accurate monthly reporting including Management accounts and Budget reports
Supporting the Finance the annual financial audits and all necessary regulatory reporting to external bodies
Management of the Finance Assistant
The University (education and training provider) are happy to look at a Part qualified Accountant who is looking to progress into a finance role or a more established Finance Manager. Experience of the Education and Training provider sector is desirable although not essential. The role will be home based initially but will be 4 days office based with 1 day working from home once restrictions are lifted

Part qualified or qualified member of ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification Double entry bookkeeping experience Commutable to London
