Job Description

Here you will be dealing with our Team 2 customers and be responsible for both outbound and inbound contact in order to facilitate payment of arrears, identifying and resolving any queries for the customer at an early stage.

A day in the life of a Team 2 Credit Controller at phs will involve;

  • Focusing on the collection of aged debt of 31 to 60 days
  • Resolving more complex issues and queries that prevent the collection of payments from our customers
  • Managing a group of ledger types with specific debtors such as; Credit risk, debt aged over 150+ days, our larger business pool and public sector clients
  • Responding to all customer contact and updating all communication records
  • Escalation of accounts where legal action may be considered
  • Liaising with colleagues to discuss, support and share knowledge on a regular basis.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Credit Management experience A good working knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook Negotiation and decision-making Skills Listening skills An ability to prioritise demanding workloads Assertive with great communication skills!
