Job Description

Within a growing division of this global insurer this is an exceptional role for a professional accountant with a strong background in group reporting, accounting policy and insurance.

This newly created role will require the successful applicant to lead and manage the production of the group consolidation as well as provide technical guidance driving the accounting policy work including new standard e.g. IFRS17

Key responsibilities include

• Ownership fo the quarterly group consolidation process
• High level reporting to senior management and board
• Production of annual accounts for entities within the group
• Research and implementation of relevant accounting standards
• Group half year and annual consolidated accounts
• Develop accounting processes.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with both a strong background in insurance as well as practical experience in production of group consolidated accountant and technical knowledge of accounting standards.
