Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication & problem solving skills. You will require high levels of tact and diplomacy with the ability to priorities your own workload effectively to enable day to day management. You will be working alongside a number of Consultants and various other clinical staff supporting the Cardiology Department.

The post is permanent and is to work 22.5 hours a week, various days considered but Friday essential.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have a broad range of administrator skills in particular: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of the Trust Patient Access Policy. Knowledge and familiarization of medical terminology. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet, Lorenzo. RSA II or equivalent qualification. Audio typing experience. You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in English and hold a NVQ level II Customer Service or equivalent, have keyboard skills, a pleasant disposition, and the ability to work well in a team.
