Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to fulfil the role of a Receptionist. The successfully appointed Receptionist will take responsibility to assist visitors, customers, and staff with inquiries and questions relating to the company and non-products. The candidate will play an important role in creating a good first impression for the company and ensure visitors have a good experience.

Responsibilities and functions

  • Attend to and service incoming calls at the reception desk.
  • Welcome visitors entering the premises.
  • Adhere to the security procedures when allowing visitors onto the premises.
  • Attend to and assist with general inquiries.
  • Perform basic secretarial and administrative duties.
  • All visitors that enter the reception area must be dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.
  • The initial point of contact for all non-staff individuals.
  • Maintain the customer waiting area and the reception area.
  • Responsible to ensure that the supplier details are kept up to date.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to communicate to staff across all levels. Customer-orientated in your approach. Punctual with good time management skills. Be efficient and take initiative. Good organization and interpersonal skills. Working and practical knowledge of Microsoft Office. Prior experience is beneficial. Be confident and assertive.
