Job Description

AJ Chambers are currently working with a top 15 firm of accountants who, after a period of growth in this geographical area, are looking to take on a senior accountant to support the business.

This is a progressive role, with the aim to take someone from senior accountant, to manager within 18 Months.

You would start in the business by supporting the Senior Managers with their portfolio, taking on your own small portfolio simultaneously, with the aim to grown your own portlfolio and eventually have accountants managing this for you as you take the step to Assistant Manager, then Manager.

The successful applicant will be either ACCA/ACA qualified , or a finalist, with a number of years’ practice experience, with experience managing / reviewing juniors desirable but not essential.

They should have varied experience within practice, suiting an individual who is looking to develop their career having held a similar position in a previous role. A keen eye for detail, the ability to work to deadlines, strong leadership and team building skills are essential skills needed for this role.
