System Administrator with extensive web server experience (Nginx, Apache etc.) is sought by a market leading cloud platform software house based near Nottingham. This System Administrator will be joining a growing technical services team working closely with the co-founder to bring new ideas, technology and a personality to the role with a level of autonomy that allows ownership of the design, installation and maintenance of the company’s platforms.

In return this System Administrator will receive:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This System Administrator based near Nottingham should have most of the following key skills: - Extensive web server experience - Apache, Nginx etc. - Load balancing software exposure - Kemp, HAProxy etc. - Solid database knowledge - MariaDB, MySQL etc. - Replicated storage system - DRBD. Knowledge of bash scripting. Solid understanding of server hardware. Git version control experience. Any open sourcing programming and Google Cloud exposure would be a real plus.
