Semi Senior / Assistant Accountant

Modern-thinking, professional and growing accounting practice in the Sheffield region have a new opportunity for a confident and ambitious Semi Senior / Assistant Accountant.

You will be given plenty of autonomy and lots of rewarding client accountability / ownership which will provide a superb platform for your further career development within this expanding firm.

They have an extremely varied and interesting client portfolio and you will have chance to gain exposure to a wide mix of businesses varying in size, sector and complexity.

The firm has ambitious and driven partners and a supportive leadership / management team. You will have plenty of encouragement and support where required but also the right degree of autonomy.

There is opportunity to fast track your career and progress through fully funded qualification (ACCA / ACA).

• You will need to have gained experience within a firm of accountants and ideally have varied exposure to producing accounts for small limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• You will be a confident communicator who enjoys working in a vibrant but focused team.
• You will need a good foundation of core IT skills.
• You will have either completed AAT or an accounting degree.
