They’ve tasked us with sourcing an exceptional Finance Analysts to join their growing finance function. The role will work very closely to support their Financial Controller (also placed by Trial Balance Consulting), with the key responsibility being to provide accurate commentary and detailed analysis of project costings. The successful candidates will take a lead role in developing and implementing new project reporting tools which will allow automation of cost collection and general projects costings. Whilst it’s an analytical opportunity, it’s also one that works closely with colleagues throughout the business has a highly commercial nature to it.

Who’s right for the challenge? Probably, but not essentially a professionally qualified Analyst (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), but most definitely somebody with previous at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar analytical role, with a thorough knowledge of the challenges faced by a medium-large sized services sector business where project analysis is concerned. You’ll need strong knowledge in statutory frameworks and very strong IT skills. It’s going to be a challenging, but extremely rewarding position where the successful candidate will be an essential point of contact for all queries and support assistance.
