Job Description

This is a newly created role due to recent growth and a new strategy moving forward to expand as a business. The role will be reporting into a Financial Controller who wants to support and develop the incoming Finance Analyst by providing them a platform to contribute to commercial growth.

The role is fundamentally focused on analysis, business partnering and creating value within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business. We are looking for a detail orientated analyst who can aid in decision support; excel modelling and provide extensive customer, pricing and business development insight.

• Responsible financial analysis; covering sales, manufacturing, commissions, overheads and marketing.
• Development and delivery of financial and commercial reporting for senior management.
• Proactively challenge the status quo and use commercial analysis to drive business change.
• Leveraging company financial systems to facilitate insightful and efficient reporting.
• Providing monthly commentary on the business results & the financial estimate.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

CIMA or ACCA studier An advanced Excel user, competent with managing, reviewing & analysing data, & challenging data. Ability to work autonomously. Strong attention to detail under pressure & working with high volumes A natural problem-solving mentality & approach; able to think quickly & decisively to solve issues Highly organised with a natural ability to prioritise Hands on Sage experience is a preference
