A Post has arisen for a Senior Financial Services Accountant within a busy financial services section of NHS Fife. Key duties include the production of the year-end Statutory Financial Statements, production of the monthly financial monitoring, managing a busy finance department with 21 staff (excl payroll) and providing assistance as required to corporate reporting. You will work with Procurement staff to increase efficiency through streamlining practices and increasing first time matching. It is essential that you maintain an up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards that apply to all aspects of the Boards reporting and a working knowledge of all related guidance and legislation. You will be directly assisted by a team covering Ledger Control, Treasury Accounting, Payments, Car leasing, Endowments and Patient Funds, and will report to the Assistant Director of Finance.
