An excellent opportunity is available for a Paraplanner to join a dedicated and growing Investment Management team based in Nottingham. The role is currently home working until further notice, and upon office return, agile working can be achieved.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:

• Provide paraplanning and high level administrative support to the Investment Management Team.
• Prepare quality and technically accurate client suitability reports in a timely manner in line with the needs of the Investment Management department, keeping up-to-date with new legislative changes on an ongoing basis.
• Research funds for clients, with a view to developing current fund research tools and deciphering the results.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all client documentation and information in line with the General Date Protection Regulations and Rules at all times.
• Undertake any relevant training courses as identified by HR, your line Manager or as required by the CII/PFS, and to ensure continued professional development requirements are met each year.
• Operating the back office system and exploring all its facilities for improved and efficient delivery of financial services.
• To provide a comprehensive and efficient service to ensure that the objectives of the Investment Management Department and the Firm are achieved.
• To maintain the firm’s high standards of service and client care to both existing and prospective clients and to promote the professional reputation of the Department and the firm in general.
• To contribute to the development of the Department in accordance with the firm’s policy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The Paraplanner will possess experience of working within a financial services environment in a paraplanning role, you will also need to be either level 4 diploma qualified or working towards it.
