Job Description

As a Care Assistant or Support Worker in Hereford, you'll be a key team member, working with supportive colleagues to assist children with a range of daily living tasks and activities. You'll supporting children with a children's residential service and will need to have prior experience with PBM (Positive Behavioural Management). Applicants with alternative qualifications like MAPA or NAPPI will be considered for this role.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You'll already have a minimum of 3 months experience under your belt as well as a PBM/MAPA/NAPPI qualification. The right to work in the UK is a must. You must be confident in your abilities as a caregiver, and you'll be able to demonstrate that you possess our core values of trust, empathy and expertise. All Newcross carers need at least 3 months of professional experience and the right to live and work in the UK. If you don't already have a valid certificate, we can provide Moving and Handling training during your induction. You'll need to have a PBM/MAPA/NAPPI qualification and experience of dealing with challenging behaviour. You will need access to a smart device with an internet connection to pick up shifts and submit timesheets through our app, HealthForceGo. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
