We are currently working with a fantastic production company that is currently looking for a Senior Production Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract with the very high chance of going permanent.

You will have at least two years' experience as a Production Accountant in a similar role and be able to work autonomously and have good communication skills. You will have experience of VAT, Artist Payments, Dealing with Foreign Currencies and understanding Film Industry Guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Managing multiple and varied productions simultaneously, including cost reporting to broadcasters
* Managing the relationship with production management teams to ensure accurate forecasting, planning and reporting of production spend throughout the whole period of the production
* Working closely with the production managers for each production
* Working across multi-currency budgets, ensuring accuracy in the production accounting
* Regular cashflow forecasting on productions across multi currencies, alerting FC to any variances in currency forecast against budget
* Production accounting for Tax Credits/Training rebates including preparation of auditing
* Preparation of monthly production finance reporting for PFM's
* Cost Management
* Cash Management

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Production Accountant * Experience with PMI * Strong numeracy skills and must know double entry * Good communication skills * Be adaptable and ready for any challenge * Strong Excel skills - intermediate
