Job Description
Responsible for managing all administration tasks and processes relating to the charity, including front-line customer enquiries received by telephone.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer the telephone and deal with customer enquiries or escalate as appropriate
Manage the incoming bookings and payments for the meals on wheels
Maintain stationery supplies
Maintain filing systems and internal databases
Organize, story and print charity documents as required
Distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Support the Centre Manager with administrative tasks as and when requested
Assume responsibility for own professional development.
Take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and all other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
Always respect the confidentiality of information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
COVID-19 considerations:
The Centre has taken all necessary precautions to protect staff and customers including PPE, track and trace, weekly testing etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Touch-typist. Intermediate level with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, Outlook) and Google Drive. Excellent communication (verbal and written) in English and Gujarati (essential). Can-do attitude and desire to learn. Team player but works on own initiative. “Continuous improvement” mentality and strives for excellence. Honest and acts with integrity. Respectful and embraces diversity. Learns from experience and share knowledge with others. Trustworthy and discreet.
