Job Description

Must be willing to be DBS cleared or hold DBS on update service Your new company You will work for a large public sector client that has a presence and influence in the Staffordshire region, the team is an exceptionally busy one so you will be able to busy always

Your new role

  • To prioritise work loads on a daily basis. in order to meet deadlines
  • Using IT systems to ensure records are kept up to date
  • Supporting by producing team documentation and updating team systems
  • To book staff onto training.
  • To be responsible for the ordering of stock and equipment
  • Supporting with team administrative task

You will work in a public sector clients busy office. Your will be expected to support across varying levels of the businesses support function. Duties including but not limited to; To liaise with relevant team members and staff to attend regular meetings and support on those meetings by ensuring all the perquisite paperwork is ready

  • Produce reports, letters, summaries, etc. within the set standards.
  • Database access to input and retrieve information
  • Ensure that all records are up to date
  • Respond to incoming calls and deal with enquiries in line with departmental procedures, ensuring that messages are passed to the correct team for processing
  • Ensuring that Data Protection is always maintained
  • Meeting team SLA's for information requests

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have a background in Administration ideally from a similar large scale matrix organisation where you will have experienced dealing with internal and external stakeholders displaying the ability to communication effectively with all parties. From your experience you will be computer literate with a working knowledge ideally with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. In addition to this you will have worked with shared inboxes and completed some diary management and be able to pick up new bespoke systems quickly. Personally, you will have worked in a large team and appreciate the ability to work effectively as part of the team, developing relationships quickly with all parties. You will be a self-starter with the ability to prioritise effectively with minimal support, showing attention to detail at all times What you'll get in return Competitive hourly rate and the chance to work for a major public sector client
