Eagle Automation Systems Ltd was established in 1988 and is one of the leading gate automation and security companies in the United Kingdom. we are looking for a full-time accounts assistant to cover maternity leave on a 12 month contract. The successful candidate will be a key member of the accounts team and should have exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail and capable of carrying out the day to day duties with minimal supervision. The job entails sales ledger, purchase ledger and general admin.
Experience:
Experience working in an accounts role is essential
Knowledge of Sage would be beneficial however training will be provided
Excellent communication skills
Capability to multi-task and follow-up to complete tasks
Responsibilities:
Daily banking – Allocating payments including cheques and card payments
Credit control – Monthly statements, chasing outstanding invoices, chasing maintenance contract decisions and managing unpaid accounts
Reconcile company credit card statements
Purchase ledger – processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements and preparing BACS payments
Retention – Chasing customers for outstanding retention on install projects
Engineer time sheets – Entering time sheets on spreadsheet ready for payroll
Ad Hoc – Vehicle tax and penalty charge payments, daily post, staff expenses and DWP deductions
General:
Contract Period: 12 months
Salary – £20,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
Hours - Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Full training provided
Immediate start available for handover prior to maternity leave starting in December
