The role requires a strong focus on high standard of administration skills, excellent customer service with good experience/knowledge of the transport industry.
As the Logistics Coordinator your duties will include:
Assigning jobs to engineers/field engineers
Booking in Repairs and Installations effectively
Checking status of the products dispatched with warehouse operatives and change stock units accordingly on system.
Checking stock due to be dispatched before printing dispatch order information for warehouse operatives
Calculating estimated times for engineering jobs for the current day and analyze variances
Reviewing job summaries from Field Engineers for all works completed the previous day
Liaising with Technical Support for times worked the previous day by engineers on site/travel time
Informing engineers of working times for the next working day
Updating Clocking in Machine with engineer shifts for the next working day
The Logistics Coordinator will be working on a rotating shift, 9:00am-8:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
In return, the Logistics Coordinator will receive a salary of £19,000-£23,000 (depending on experience). Additional opportunities exist due to company expansion.

To be a successful Logistics Coordinator you will have the following skills and experience: Logistics coordinator, Transport Planner, Transport Coordinator, Logistics Admin or Transport Admin experience. Familiar with Route master/Salesforce software is desirable. Great organizational skills. High standard of administration skills. Good customer service skills. Good IT skills: especially with Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook). Good telephone manner. Ability to adapt to changes to the schedules. Excellent attention to detail. Positive outlook, good communicator and team worker.
