Job Description

They are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team due to volume of business. This is an opportunity to come in and make the role your own looking at speeding up processes and procedures. As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will need to have previous experience dealing with stock and strong excel skills. This is a great opportunity to join SME business which is fast paced.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Inputting purchase ledger invoices onto the register
  • Allocating a nominal code to the ledger
  • Matching GRN to invoices
  • Chasing any invoices that have not been authorized
  • Reconciling monthly statements
  • Payments runs
  • Preparing accruals spreadsheet monthly, intrastat arrival list and weekly payments list
  • Liaising with the purchasing team to help resolve supplier invoice/GRN queries

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
5 years + previous experience in a purchase ledger role. Excellent excel skills (Vlook ups / Pivot Tables). Experience dealing involving stock. A successful track record of accuracy within a fast-paced environment.
