Job Descriptions:
Security Smart Ltd is a security and Steward service provider based in London. We provide above services for our clients as well as other companies in and out of Greater London. We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Admin Apprentice to work in our Office, who will be given the opportunity to be involved in the various day-to-day administrative duties as well as corresponding. We are offering initially upto 32 hours per week (leading to a full-time permanent position depending on performance) to work directly alongside the Management Team. This will provide you with an overall introduction to working in a general and busy office environment.

Duties:

  • Corresponding (Handling phone calls, queries, writing and replying emails)
  • Providing office support including customer and employee support with minor Accounting jobs
  • Keeping files and records of business activity (electronic & manual) well-organised
  • Managing employees- allocate in different sites, check their Sia licences, Roster, Timesheets etc
  • Data Entry- Updating Database/Keeping computer databases up to date
  • Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person
  • Support on various Admin &HR duties including new recruitment
  • Make Rosters and Ensure timesheets are filled & managed on time, chasing up outstanding timesheets

and queries, and Processing timesheets for payroll

  • Following up on business communications, billing & ordering including minor sales& markeing jobs
  • Arrange/Attending appropriate training courses as and when required
  • Meeting booking & Schedule the appoinments
  • Minute taking during meetings
  • Assist on different Ad hoc duties

Required Criteria:

  • Must be responsible
  • Strong communication skills in English both written and spoken with polite telephone manner
  • Possess excellent people skills and be a great problem-solver
  • A sociable and confident organiser and have a great sense of humour
  • Must be an able and tireless multi-tasker, be incredibly reliable and be confident with IT & Office software packages (MS Office & MS Excel must).
  • You’ll need to show that you have initiatives and are able to self-manage
  • Attention to detail with administrative duties
  • Knowledge on using office equipment’s
  • Full (UK) Driving Licences (an added advantage)
  • Sia licenceholder will be added advantage
  • Discipline & Punctual
