Job Description

We have an exciting opening for an experienced AP Team Leader to join our Finance department in Leicester to deliver the efficient operation and day to day functioning of the Department and to drive and deliver continuous performance improvements.

Using best practice policies and with the collaboration of the AP Manager the Team Leader will maintain the integrity of all AP related Control Accounts and ensure their accurate and timely reconciliation. The role will provide support for key AP roles and will deliver training and development to the team. The Team Leader will also be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders across all levels, ensuring that both commerciality and practicalities are given equal measure.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Relevant experience within a large company / SSC environment ideally in the retail sector. Experience of delivering process improvements. A strong leader able to motivate and coach a high performing team. Excellent IT skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Results orientated. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A positive "can do" attitude.
