Great opportunity to work for an experienced Management Accountant to join a leading Global Media brand. This is a role covers the European region and will be a combination of forecasting & planning as well and the normal month end close duties.

This busy team works with the business to provide informative financial information and requires an individual who has the ability to build strong working relationships with their peers whilst working independently, taking ownership of their workload to ensure deadlines are left.

This is a busy and varied role that would be great for an enthusiastic and driven individual who wants to join a fun and knowledgeable team from whom you can learn and grow with.

The role has the opportunity to develop and really add value to the business unit. You will need to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as you will have a lot of interaction with stakeholders across the European region.

The role:

- Assist the team with ongoing forecasting and business planning, completing the required analysis;

- Prepare the month end accounts to include overhead cost accounts and balance sheet reconciliations;

- Prepare monthly reports for cost centre and distribute to the appropriate management;

- Ensure all monthly intercompany recharges are sent to the European partners;

- Conduct ad hoc analysis and reports for managements to make sound business decisions;

- Assist with the year end close and audit process;

- Involvement in a SAP improvement project to improve workflow reporting;

- Responsible for VAT reporting for multiple European territories.

The person:

- Newly qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent);

- Enthusiastic and motivated to drive your career forward;

- Technically and financially minded with the ability to produce month end accounts and commercial insight;

- Strong communication skills where you can adapt your approach and influence others;

- Great team player with the to build strong working relationships;

- Experience of SAP would be an advantage, Excel skills are a must;

- Ability to meet deadlines, drive change and constantly adapt to a changing environment.
