Job Description

As an Assistant Accountant you would work for either the Industrial Property sector or the Retail Property sector depending on your experience. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within the Property Sector and working with Sales and Purchase ledger.

In the role of Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

• Purchase ledger
• Sales ledger
• Invoicing
• Managing all purchase and sales ledger transactions
• Working as part of a team
• Working with Rental of approx. £20million, Assets of approx. £250million with the ability to expand up to £1billion

Hours of Work and Salary

• Monday - Friday
• 9am - 5.30pm
• Extra hours may be required during busy periods
• Salary £24K - £30K (dependant on experience) - Property experience is desirable

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous experience working within the Property Sector Worked in a similar Assistant Accountant position Strong systems experience - Sage is essential Sales and Purchase Ledger experience The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment A confident approach and enthusiasm in adding value to the business The ability to organise their own workload and work efficiently
