Job Description

This is a newly created role working for a customer focused values led organisation who are very successful within their sector. The main aims of the position are to;  

Implement and ensure that key financial controls are operating effectively.  Ensure that the company achieves best practice in terms of complying with all current accounting and legal reporting obligations.  Provide guidance regarding all technical accounting, statutory and tax matters so far as they affect the organisation.  Key duties and responsibilities will include;  

• Financial management and control
• Financial reporting
• Statutory accounts and audit
• Taxation
• VAT
