The Recruitment Administrator provides an excellent support service across the whole lifecycle of employment, but with a particular emphasis on the recruitment of new staff. Working closely with applicants, hiring managers as well as the Department’s Research Operations Officer and Research & Finance Manager, the post holder is the first point of contact for prospective and existing staff of the Department. This includes supporting managers throughout the recruitment process and providing a welcome service for new staff that encompasses a full induction. In addition, the post holder has responsibility for coordinating some of the day-to-day HR-related tasks, such as supporting contract extensions and changes.
This is a busy and dynamic role that plays an essential part in the Department’s success and would suit those with a good eye for detail, ability to juggle a fast-paced workload and those who enjoy interacting with a wide variety of colleagues.
