Reporting to the Head of Accounting, the Assistant Accountant will assist with daily accounting tasks and administration in addition to preparation of monthly management accounts, accruals and prepayments, as well as assisting the preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
You will reconcile nominal ledger and bank accounts and investigate issues in relation to the Purchase Ledger accounts on Sage Line 50. You will have experience preparing tax files and also manage creditor balances.
Required skills:
- Previous experience preparing management accounts
- Solid experience preparing annual financial statements
- Proven experience of operating within the day to day Finances of a small to medium sized enterprise
- Finance graduate or part-qualified with a professional accounting body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Experience with Sage 50 is highly desirable
- Experience of finance function with overseas subsidiaries is preferred
