This position will report directly to the Managing Director and will involve interaction with all leaders and departments across our busy and thriving business.

If you are comfortable operating in an environment, where you will be given autonomy and ownership, and are a detail-oriented accountant of a “hands on” nature, seeking an exciting and varied role, this could be the ideal next step for you.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Day to day management of the Finance Assistant

• Production of management accounts - ensuring integrity and accuracy. Providing supporting commentary on areas of variance.

• Financial Accounting - balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations VAT returns etc.

• Treasury management including foreign exchange management.

• Ensuring all invoicing is processed in a timely and accurate manner in adherence with company policy.

• Tight cash flow management - all cash postings and banking activities.

• Management of sales and purchase ledger.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will above anything be a great cultural fit for this organization, this means energetic, driven, confident and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally. In terms of skill set you will need To be an extremely competent Google sheets (Excel) user - Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are a must. Experience in operating in a “hands on” and fully rounded accounting role. Have strong technical accounting and reporting skills. Ideally AAT (or similar) Qualified/Qualified by Experience. Experience of the Xero accounting software would be advantageous. Experience: accounting: 3 years (Preferred).
