Senior Group Accountant | Fin-Tech | London | Temp to Perm

I have an amazing opportunity working for a fast-growing, Fin-Tech business based in Central London. This is a hands on, all round role leading a team of 1. The role takes responsibility for management accounts, group consolidation, statutory accounts, audit, tax, VAT as well as assisting with the budgeting & forecasting process.

This is an initial 2/3 month contract with a view to go permanent

Day rate: £300/£350 per day - depending on experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Qualified accountant - Strong Group consolidation experience - Advanced Excel Skills including experience with macros VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and charts preferred - Fin-Tech, FX or related sector experience is essential - SME background is essential - Hands-on, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Must have positive attitude, professional and mature - Strong attention to detail and have proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks, set goals and meet deadlines - Comfortable in a fast paced working environment - Self Driven and motivated to add value by instigating processes and procedures Must also have 1. Recent Sage 50 experience 2. Multi Currency experience 3. Multi Entity experience 4. Reconciliation experience 5. Management Accounts preparation experience 6. Prepared group Vat returns 7. Treasury experience 8. Consolidation Accounts experience of Multi Currency entities (GBP USD, CHF)
